Hey ImOK,

Remove the wiring portion of the control unit via the two bolts. Look on the top of the control where the throttle cable 'pipes' go into the control part still attached. One is kept by a bolt and the other is a nut. Back/remove these and then back off the adjusters on the cables themselves as far as they can go. This will give you enough slack to remove the barrels on the ends of the cables from their keepers where they attach to the grip/throttle sleeve inside the control. Completely remove the control, slide it down and off the bars and the throttle grip will come off. Reverse for installation and adjust the cables so the throttles fully close and snaps back without drag.

btw, this would be an excellent time to re-route your cables in case you decide to mod the bars or use larger risers...
