If you buy the ones for Harleys (4445) can you take off their adapter and put on the one for Triumph?

Why would you want to? just buy the 4446 that comes w/o the adapters and buy the triumph adapters for $19. I think the 4446 is less expensive due to the fact it comes w/o an adapter anyway, then buy the 8840 triumph adapters. ( i think those are the correct numbers) Thats what i did. i mean, if you buy the harley version you're payng for the pegs and adapters you can't use. By the way, i found the switchblade pegs because of the way they are flat, i don't even tend to use the stirrups.They're comforatble even w/o them. Much better than the stock pegs.

Yeah I don't use the sturrups much either, the wider peg is a welcome change to begin with. But it's nice to take the weight off the balls of my feet occasionally with the heel rest.

I seem to remember hunting around and found that cowetta custom cycle is were I ended up getting them!

What i did is searched google with the term kuryakyn 4446. I found a lot of places and i found a suzuki dealer that sold them to me for the lowest price i'd seen quoted anywhere. they didn't have the adapters but were happy to order them for me. don't recall if the adapters were cheap tho, but at $20 list you won't save much on them anyway. I can't recall the dealer other than it was suzuki, but do a search and you'll find them or at least somewhere that'll sell em cheap. i think i paid $70 for the pegs or thereabouts, tho it's been a long time so i'm not sure. Of course i also considered shipping costs, and with that accounted for they were the cheapest.(may have seen one cheaper but shipping was huge or they wouldn't order the adapters or some such thing)

If i recall they had me do something like add a comment when i bought them saying to please order the 8840 triumph adapters and add them to my order. Just email or call and they'll explain it in any case.

Can the SwitchBlades be used with the heel-toe shifter?
Anybody tried that yet?

I had the Switchblades on with the heel-toe shifter for a while. It worked fine and the shifter cleared the footpeg both open and closed. The shifter doesn't get in the way of opening the pegs either.

You can buy kurakyn products directly from them. I have lots of their stuff and I bought directly from them. The good part of buying from them is if you have a problem they will handle it very quickly for you. If you buy through another source then you have to send it back to who ever you bought it from. Then they have to send it back to kuryakyn and so on. And yes iv had to send stuff back with different problems.

I was recently looking at these pegs. I see Dazco says they are more comfortable than the stock pegs. I got the dimensions on these pegs from Kuryakyn and they were longer and wider but was not sure how they would feel. I think I will order a set and was wondering if they are simple bolt on?

Get the right adaptors and yeah, simple bolt on. Just make sure you REALLY tighten up the bolt that holds the adaptor on or you'll experience the "Kuryakyn spin".

You'll like em. Before you assemble the adaptors to the pegs, see if that conical mating surface is knurled or something. What I did was take my dremel and just score some lines into that surface so they grab when I tighten them. Some guys used loctite, I didn't. Haven't STOOD on the heel sturrup yet, don't plan on it, but I doubt they will spin.
