My stock fork shroud popped off. Too much city riding, I guess It's under warranty and the dealer is going to replace it. Anyone else? Ever?

Hmmmm....So your fork shroud "popped off", huh?!
So, WHEN EXACTLY did those boys at Hinckley start puttin' Right-Wing Wags on our bikes, HUH????!!!!
Okay, Okay! Sorry!
NO! I've never heard of this happening before, Mike.
Actually, I think if that happened to my bike, I'd put gaiters on 'em. I've always thought the shrouds look a little too..."harleyesque".
Cheers,
Dwight

You must have the Ann Coulter model fork shroud. I think they quit making those. (I've never had any problem with my fork shroud.)

Actually it's a dual model, Ann Coulter on the right side and Al Frankin on the left.

Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Yeah Mike! JB might just have a point there! Take a minute to inspect those faulty shrouds o' yours. If they're stamped on the back with the following letters...F-O-X.....you just might have one o' them there BAD SETS, dude! Cheers, Dwight (hey...I wonder if Triumph knows about this and we just haven't heard about the RECALL yet???!!!)

Oh he of tender age....Those are the rubber boots that cover the downtubes between the bottom triple-clamp and the folk sliders.
All the rage, back in the day of Britbike dominance!(the '50s and '60s)
Cheers, Dwight (OR...they're those big ugly creatures that eat Phil's neighbor's pet, Fluffy, down Florida way, now and then)

You would have to be quite the "Hombre" to strap a couple of Gaitors to your forks.........

Jack the bike way up, take off the wheel, mudguard and brake caliper. Loosen the pinch bolts in th tripple clamps and pull out the fork tubes. Unbolt the shrouds with a socket and long extension, put the gaters on the fork tubes and reassemble. Easy as pie...
