Whats happening with the foot peg while Grzegorz is scrapeing his cans on the road?
I'm guessing it must be folding up to allow the cans to touch down?
Not really because the physics involved will compress the rear suspention as you roll thru the corner...
As the bike enters the corner centrifical force will make it want to fly off the road...so you lean to direct the forces back down the bike to the tire...this will force the rear suspention to load up and compress...even MORE so with a rider on board...
this happens in the front of the bike also but to a lesser extreme....forcing a low rear high front condition (they are pretty close but no quite even) and add rider weight coupled with a variable preload suspention and its very concievable that one rider will never drag a peg but will only drag a pipe, and another will drag a peg before a pipe, and yet another will drag both
and some will never drag anything
