All I can tell ya is....FEAR has never been conducive to the ulitization of "common sense", pragmatism or realism. And the "Right" seems to me to utilize this emotion far "better" than the "Left". And BOTH extremes are to be watched because of BOTH of their tendencies to capitalize on this strong and sometimes overpowering emotion.
