I should have entitled this thread, Bill Clinton let me down.
Thrilled Zarqawi is gone. Tried to discuss this with a very liberal friend of mine. I asked him if our boy was going to get rewarded with the 70 virgins. He said, and I quote:
"nah he gets a special place in hell right next to Donald Rumsfeld".
Now, while I am not a huge Rummy fan, that quote tells you everything you need to know about important events in this country being jaded with political agendas. That is like trying to compare Hitler to Henry Knox. Jesus! Let's enjoy a fantastic victory, instead of making it a referendum on Bush for once. And it is a victory. 'Kay? If you cannot be objective enough to appreciate this a&& being eliminated without wrapping it in a political agenda, then bugger you.
This is precisely why I left the Democratic party several years ago. It is a joke. They have let this American down, and I will not be back anytime soon. Actually, that is not completely true, because I like Chris Dodd. If he gets a nomination over some other idiots like Clinton, Gore, and Kerry, I could come back provided that McCain is not nominated. Until then, adios.
