GREAT NEWS!!!!
The story is that Al-Zarqawi was still alive but unconscious when he was discovered in the rubble and was put on a stretcher by the Iraqi police when they first arrived on the scene. When the coalition forces arrived a short while later, he woke up enough to recognize that we had the SOB and tried to roll off the stretcher to escape. I'm glad he died knowing he'd been caught and was conscious enough to hopefully suffer some of the same physical and psychological pain he had inflicted himself. It ain't much, I know, but it's SOMETHING.

I hope we can treat bin Laden to the same hospitality real soon.
P.S. Alchohol is not legally available to U.S. troops stationed in Iraq, and is rationed (limited to two beers a day) on our bases in "support" countries like Qatar. I hope that these limitations were loosened a bit for the pilots directly involved in the strike. They certainly deserved more than "just a couple" for this one!
