I'm grateful that there was enough of him to identify conclusively, and I'm glad we didn't take him alive (sparing us yet another long drawn out trial drama a la Saddam.), but I wish that his death was more painful and had happened sooner. Perhaps we could mount his body and publicly display his remains in a pig sty.

Having said all that, his wretched end will mean less and less as time passes if we don't effectively exploit the vacuum his departure leaves within the ranks of the terrorist "insurgency." You don't win battles or wars by allowing the enemy time to regroup and recover. Hit them harder still while the animals are on the mat.
Speaking of animals, the Westbury (Kansas) Baptist Church pukes were out here in Arkansas this past week protesting at a young soldier's funeral in Beebe. They held up their usual hateful signs while some of them STOOD on the American flag. People are showing an amazing restraint by not getting physical with these vomit spewing demons who are clothing themselves with their interpretation of God's word and shielded by the first amendment. That they are doing this at a time of war is - IMHO - traiterous behavior that gives comfort to our enemies. (In case you're interested, the law which prohibits these protests at funerals won't take affect until next month.)
