spent some more time re-reading and looking through Torque over the last few days. I guess it really in as bad as it had originally struck me. I think I jumped the gun quite a bit with some of what I originally wrote. I stick with that a paint job does not make a bike custom and those of us with Speedmasters and Americas are almost completely ignored.

That being said, I got an email from Matt Weinert:

Soren,
Its to bad that you feel that way. The bulk of what was removed was the pack information section. This will soon be placed onto the Triumph Motorcycles website.

Torque is geared towards the Triumph owner. Membership is free to all those that have bought a Hinckley Triumph. It is a very large and broad spectrum of people and tastes.

Thanks for your feedback,

Matt,

I have to apologize for my letter. After re-reading the latest Torque, I have changed my mind about most of what I said (It would be nice to see some real custom Speedmasters and Americas featured). I guess since I am a huge fan of all Triumph motorcycles and in particular the Speedmaster and America, I can sometimes get a little wound up and passionate about the things I believe in. I am also a very huge fan of RAT and a very active member in my local RAT Pack (I joined RAT almost a whole year before I bought my first Triumph, the Speedmaster) and want to see it always expanding and growing bringing all types of Triumph owners together. Please accept my apology.

Soren
