Well now that RamSound showed me how to post an image with my post I would like to tell you about my new Leatherworks Bags. I originally wanted hard bags because I thought they would look better and allow more storage. All of the hard bags I found were for other bikes and others were just to big. I found this out by cutting out patterns. I also wanted ones that could be taken off easy so that I could maintain the chain and clean the area under the bags. I am not familar with the new faux (phoney) leathers so I opted for real leather from The Leatherworks and Easy Brackets. I ordered both from Side Road Cycles. Their website really made it easy. You simply choose your bike model any additions to the bags and the Easy Brackets. The brackets arrived in about a week and the bags less than three weeks. The Leatherworks makes the bags as they are ordered because of the many additions you may have. The workmanship is outstanding. The quick connects under the buckles are great. Each bag has a zippered map pocket, a good place to carry motorcycle papers, etc. The map pocket also hides the bolts connecting the bag to the brackets. The leather inside is soft and well done. There are four connection points on the top of each bag where bungie cords can be attached to carry items externally. I know Rob isn't going to like this, but a gallon of Carlo Rossi easily fits in a bag with room to spare.

Looks pretty good. Exactly which model are they? I'm considering the 112X but that may be too large.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

I got a pair of these http://www.carolinaleatherworks.com/16x135sad.html for the Piglet. When the OL got her new bike with bags, I got a set of Easy Brackets and put these on the Triumph. Carolina Leatherworks are having a big sale now with a lot of their bags selling for under $100. One of the nice features is the zippered inner cover and an extra flap with a zippered compartment so there are 3 layers of leather blocking the opening.

I got the 112P from sideroadcycles.com and have been raving about them ever since. I really dig the external pockets on the 112p bags. I ordered mine early april and the bags and brackets both arrived within a week.

That sound like a good deal. Mine cost $408 plus $149 for the Easy Brackets. Here is a link to where I got mine..... if anybody is interested. Side Road Cycles

They look nice on the bike Dave. I like the "quick release" snaps that you don't see when closed.

Those are the same bags I have, and I love 'em. I got mine at www.leatherneckjim.com. They're sold there as the "Sedona", and they're on sale now for $440.

Hi Erin:
Now that RamSound (Bob) showed me how on a Mac and RobBA05 on a Windows machine I can tell ya. You will need to upload your photos by going to PhotoPost at the top of your screen. After uploading you then click on the thumbnail of the one that you want to attach to your post. Then right click on the LARGE photo for windows or command click on the large photo and copy the photo address. Then in your post that you want to attach the photo click on Image in the Instant UBB Code block below the post block, and then paste the address.
