Right then. It now has 349 miles in it...
Went to Ikea to get some pic frames. From mine to there is around 3 1/2 miles. Got on to the motorway for the blast for about 1 minute and it seemed to be where it was happy. And where my arms didn't hurt! So got the fuel cap off (I refused to go to bed till I'd managed it - I wasn't going back to the dealer just to say I couldn't get the fuel cap off... - stick about a gallon in, and hit the motorway in the other direction. The 20 mile way home beckoned.
On the motorway, it seems at home. I did look down and think "flipping eck - I'd better slow down..." the speedo was reading a figure beginning with 1.... the problem was it seemed to want to go even faster. Well I didn't think that, just words to that effect.
At speed it's actually a comfatable ride. I suppose because you adopt a different position. Sitting and thinking about it now, back home, I do on the America too. But around the city - I'm not sure...I think I don't like it.
There is a lot off power behind it - that and the fact it is so light compared to the America/SM...it goes a little too well!
I have two complaints really - other than the arms/back hurting.
The speedo is too small. You have to squint to see the speed - hence the ton on the M5...
And my knees are by the cylinders. I guess that will be a good thing during the winter but as it's 25+ outside....my knees are still roasting 20 minutes later!
