Question 1: how many teeth on front sprocket of 2005 BA

Question:2 Is there a difference between origional Triumph sprocket and aftermarket??

Question 3: From what I read,18 teeth is a good increase over stock with out a problem accelerating from a stop??

Question 4:Best place to purchase quality sprocket would be??

To all that were at the 2006 Dahlonaga run, I had a great time.
I appreciate all the good people and friendly advice being the newcomer in the crowd. A round of applause to CHY for all he did to put it together again for another year.

I had to leave early from our visit to Coweeta Triumph. I was most impressed when strangers, to me, came out of the crowd to wish me well.

Thanks gang

17 teeth is stock on an America. You can get aftermarket 16,17,18,and 19. I have a 18 on mine and I like it better than the 17.

1- 17 on the TA
2- the Triumph has rubber on both sides that is supposed to dampen any chain vibrations, but most people can't tell the difference.
3- 18 is much better at highway speeds with less vibration, but there is a trade off in dead start acceleration. Exhaust upgrades, carb and airbox mods offset a lot of the loss.
4- You can get quality sprocketes at Brent"s (http://www.newspeedmaster.com/index.html) or at BellaCorse (http://www.bellacorse.com/index.html).
