My wife and I considered NM, AZ and TX and have pretty much decided on the Austin, TX area. Housing is really reasonable compared to the left coast and the weather permits year round riding. It's also less expensive than NM and the job market looks better. I have family in Farmington...too cold in the winter. Las Cruces was appealing, and of course there's always Taos, but the cost of housing is high and the winters cold. I want to move somewhere I can pay cash for a nice place and relax for a change.
