Dude, I've found that the little screwdriver tips that come with the multitipped screwdrivers (the ones that have the 1" long interchangeable tips) are GREAT. They are short enough to get your big hands in under the carbs, and there is usually a small size (4mm wide, or approx. 1/8") that will work perfectly. Then, to keep track of how many turns, I mark one side with a big mark (0 degrees), and the other with a small mark (180 degrees) so I know full and half turns easily. I've got one of those type of screwdrivers, that has 4 bits on a flippable shank from the local car parts place, it has a large/small phillips on one end, and a large/small flat tip on the other. I just remove the flat tip insert, flip it to the small size, and it works perfectly. The inserts are about 2" long, and I can take a pic if you want so you get what I mean if you want.
