Now that we beat that to death, how about the second question?

<How do you get off the clutch bracket on the tranny and the cluch lever?>
I assume you want to do something with your cable?
To remove the clutch cable, free the rear locknut on the keeper loop (on the tranny case), take a 12" crescent wrench and put it on the clutch lever where the cable attaches to the tranny and ease it towards the front of the bike. Turn the cable so it lines up with the slot and the cable should come out very easy and the back nut will slide off. Free the cable so it is laying straight out from the lever up top. On the lever side (on the bars), turn both the adjuster and lock so the slots line up and then work the cable out. Look closely under the lever and you will see what I mean.
