My bike had a leak at this point from day one. It appeared to be clear cause the oil was new and clean so when you swabbed your finger on it looked like it could be cosmoline.
In fact that is what the service manager told me it was during his pre-first ride indoc speech after the sale when I picked up the bike. It was oil.
The dealer fixed it under warranty.
