Welcome Ratfrog. GREAT screen name for this site. Okay, guys. Motion for a new rule. Since we now appear to have a French member of our little community who appreciates Triumphs, how about we go a bit easy on the French jokes and no more public spitting when you mention France or people from France in your posts. Can I have a second here?

Does this mean no more french (spit) jokes?

Well.....since he is from Normandy...the site of that famous happening wayyyyy back on June 6th 1944 of which the yearly anniversary thereof is only a few days away we can assume he has a better appreciation of the things that we Americans, Canadians, and British have done for the (spit) French over the years. Better than your average Parisian anyway.
So....in the spirit of the moment welcome Gilbert. I dont respect your countries politics or its spirit overall one dang bit. In fact if I had it my way we would unearth all the American dead buried in those long rows near Point Du Hoc and send em all back to Arlington where they belong.
But this forum is about Triumphs so .....WELCOME.

I was gonna stay out of this cos my feelings are well known but here goes -
Gilbert
As an Englishman, it is only natural for me to claim that the French are a bunch of soap-dodging, snail-eating, surrender-monkeys!
However, there are always exceptions that prove the rule, and I am assuming that, as you have the good taste to buy an English motorcycle, you are an exception. So in an expression of entente cordiale (see I even speak the language!) I hope that you enjoy your time at BA.com

Ouch!!
That's a bit strong Grzegorz!
Can we put put a lid on this now and say that differences have arisen over the centuries and some have longer memories than others.
Enough of the nationality bashing guys before it starts getting personal and we should welcome ANYONE who has the good sence to join us with a Triumph!
Enough, yes??

Grzegorz there is only one colour for an America!!!! If you need conformation, check out the new Haynes manual. They have a long reputation for getting things right!!!!!

Afraid so Pat, I hate being politically correct. But we have a French (spit) brother here now, so we should behave.
Maybe he's an aspiring brewmaster (meister) like me.
Welcome RATFROG. You'll have a blast here. I don't like the French leadership, but French people are great: They talk with their hands, fight with their feet, and ....... with their face.
