Hey, I'm the new kid? (58) on the block, I rode while in collage but took a leave of absence after I had a little argument with a vehicle larger than my trail bike. So anyway, Im back and I bought a Speedmaster just to be different. I have had the bike two months and have over 1400 miles on it, kinda like to ride. Anyway to me the posers are those guy the buy the Harley or whatever, trailer it to there destination, ride with loud pipes that make your head hurt, drink enough beer (not that drinking beer is bad) to get the stupidity factor way up there and then load up their bike, go home and look at it until next year.
I wear the boots, jacket etc because the asphalt is a little stronger than the ol' skin. And with everyone out there in those larger vehicles trying to see just how quick your reflexes are the safety stuff is fine with me.
I don't have any tatoos, made 30 years in the service of Uncle Sam without one so I really don't need one now and beside I figure if it was supposed to be there it would be!
