Hey, nothing wrong with the Bashful Bandit. I've been in there a few times, including one time when I didn't know it was college night. Talk about strange...here's this total biker looking bar and it's jam packed full of college kids drinking $1.50 longnecks. The reason they have college night is because the owner is some 22 or 23 year old kid who just graduated from the UofA with a business degree. He was given the bar from his Dad.

But the Bandit isn't a bad place, no worse than the Wagon Wheel out by you. Berky's is another "biker bar" that's worth checking out on Sunday afternoons if you like live music....mostly classic rock and blues. They have an open mic jam session run by Deacon that's a favorite stop of mine after a Sunday ride. Starts around 3-4 pm. Lots of bikes. It's great having a place to go see live music where you don't have to be out at night. There's a poker run out of Berky's on June 10th if you're interested.
