I'm pretty much the same as you, no tats, but I love to ride(just turned over 40,000 miles on my odometer last weekend, and then changed the oil and cleaned the chain. I don't think I'm a biker, but I'd definitely call myself a rider, because the odometer doesn't lie.
A poser by definition is somebody who pretends to be something they're not. To me that's somebody who thinks they're a bada$$ biker, but aren't. If you've been around bikes and bars, you know how to spot the real thing from the fakes...no matter what they're wearing.
