I have only had to switch to reserve a couple times. I dont remember what the miles was. I usually fill up between 100 and 120 miles and that will be between 2.5 and 3 gallons. It depends on the riding. If I am stuck in commuting traffic all weeks, I get a little bit better than about 42 mpg, hitting the road about 47 mpg. Overall, over a few weeks, lots of miles and different riding I average 45 mpg.
