I've gone 130 to 145 miles before going to reserve the few times I've had to switch the petcock. I usually try to fill up at around 100 miles because I don't like to push my luck. Except when the OL's bike needs filling t the same time, I use 89 R/M octane like Triumph recomends. Since her big fancy Hog can't run on 89, I will occasionally fill both with 91 to save time.
