I thought you told me that you stayed out of discussions like this? I usually do also. However, I tend to disagree. My grandfather signed the papers so that my dad could join the Navy at 17. He became a Lieutenant, and fought the Japs in the Phillipenes. My mom was also a LT, And was stationed at the Naval Gun Factory in Washington, DC., and later at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

My Dad is dead now, but my Mom is 88, and going strong.
