Gentlemen as we are older and jaded by politics,both left and right, I am watching High School seniors who could easily go to school or find employment and stay out of harms way, willingly, enthusiastically signing up to serve thier country. I ask my son why? He knows I don't agree with what we are doing in Iraq, and to my surprise niether does he. However he indicated as long as Osama and his band of merry men walk the planet, we will have young people volunteering to put themselves in harms way to right an injustice. Keep in mind we are involved in several conflicts around the world along with humanitarian efforts with an all volunteer military. I am proud of this generation.
