Well Dwight ...its like this. Once upon a time we had a generation of Americans known as the "Greatest Generation."
That is the generation of my Father and Mother.
That generation was in its way the most unselfish and strong of all generations of Americans. This is documented and recorded in history. Those Americans were members of both politcal parties and they had the guts to put aside any concerns for the greater good.
They understood the basic tenets of our way of life and they understood the sacrifices necessary to keep it.
Now in this day and age I and many other like minded folks find it necessary to categorize Americans. As much as I know that liberals hate what they call the generalization of being classified as anti-American ......the generalization in this time and this era is deserved in many ways.
When representatives of the liberal agenda call for us to "tuck tail" and run like scared sheep over the closest available cliff instead of defending honor and our way of life ...then I cannot fathom nor appreciate that ignorance.
I do not necessarily march in lock step to all the issues that are presented or represented by Geroge Dubya Bush or by the Republican party in general. I, do, however find the spirit and direction of the Republican/Conservative element to be much more like that of America's greatest generation.
Therefore I cannot and will not support any liberal candidates for office until such time as I am led to believe that they will "represent" as in and for the spirit of America's Greatest generation.
Unfortunately that is not going to happen for the formerly American party known as the Democrats.
I view the liberal agenda as "poison"....it has locked itself into the Democratic party and is in control of it.
Like I tell a few of my cousins who are from areas of the country that are typically democratic..."It aint your daddies Democratic party anymore" "Its been hijacked by grade B wannabes like John Skeery, Al gore, Hillary clinton, ..a host of celebrity extremist lefties like the dixie slugs, Sean Pencil head, Bra bra strisand, and 90% of their brethren."
Its a sad state of affairs as it is.
when the mouthpieces for the Democrats are represnted by Al sharpie, jessie jackstoned, Michel Mooreon...and the financial backers of moveon.org...ya GOTTA know that something sad has taken place.
Whatever ills are part an parcel of being a conservative or a "sycophant" thereof.....they are small and insignificant to the options available as I see it.
