- 2X4 with metal wheeled key rollerskate separated and pounded flat
- Schwinn Stingray (Banana seat and ape hangers)
- Minibike
- Harley X90
- Kawasaki 175

A brother of a friend bought a '71 Norton and the royal family cast its spell on me at this point.

- '73 Norton Commando 850 Roadster
- '77 Triumph Bonneville
- '05 America

Can't recall a starting age, but I did have a significant riding break during military service.

Regards,

Tom

Started at 11-12, riding a 73 Yamaha 125 Enduro(looked like a Bonneville kind of) and 73 Yam 250 (looked more like a dirtbike), then fast forward to 1987, had a VF700S Sabre(Honda), and then fast forward to 2003 where I now have my America. All told, about 11 years saddle time....

Well...good luck! I'll be waiting for your pics of this old warhorse when you guys "get her done". Should be pretty cool.

Yeah...my licence is now pink...

Funny thing is after 10 minutes of trying,I spoke to someone at the DVLA and was told to include a cheque for the sum of £9. So I did. And 3 days after my shiney pink licence arrived so did a cheque from the DVLA. For £9. Not sure why I was told to do so, but how much has it cost to realise that I didn't need to send the money?
As passing my test cost me too much money (approx £5600...for the course and the bike... ) I really couldn't afford the £9 hence why I didn't send it off at the time. Sad really. But I needed to eat.

And now I find I can drive a mower. Can't drive a car but I can a mower......

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....

Started riding like a lot of kids back in the late 60's mini bikes. Didn't have to own bikes till I got out of the service because my brothers had them and I had free access! My personal list of bikes?

"Puch" moped (when I lived in Italy I was desparate!)

78 CB 750K Dresser
82 CB 900 Custom Dresser
VW Trike (Chopper)
79 KZ 650
82 CB 900 Custom
79 KZ650
03 America

And no I didn't stutter, I owned two CB 900's and two KZ 650's, change is bad!

Numerous trail and trials bikes over the years too.

I've been riding for a little over 4 years now

First bike was a 98 MZ Skorpian (Top bike for a fisrt one, boy did it corner well!)
Next was a 99 Yamaha TRX850 (Tomb Raider style)(or a jap duke!)
Then it was the 04 Sprint RS (I still have this great bike)
And 53 weeks ago I got the 05 Speedmaster (last of the 04 models)

hmmm funny line to follow
