As I was wiping down my bike I was looking at all the stuff I had bought for her (You know the college fund for Brents kids) I was looking at the engine mount I bought for her and thought, Why on gods earth did I buy that? No one can see it unless your on the ground wiping down spots no one can see anyway?? Which leads to a question. What is the dumbest thing you bought for your bikes???

Think that's bad, I've gotten crap for buying the chrome came cover because, "you can only see about an inch of it."

It was all very important needed stuff at the time of purchase. Especially the LED lights I never turn on.

I was wondering how many bought stuff in the off season? It's easy to sit at the computer when theres a couple feet of snow or below freezing temps and hit the add to cart button I think its a way to keep in touch with the motorcycle world when you cant ride. Spring comes and its like; what the frig., did I need that?

I bought some stainless steel bar end caps on ebay. The are shinier by a sight than the dull stock ones but I doubt any casual observer of the bike would notice.

JC Whitney driving lights for about $30 bucks.
Once I got them, couldn't figure out where they would fit and the wiring looked like a hassle so they sat on my office desk for a year.
Finally said It can't be that hard so in the process of trying to install I dropped one and busted the light!! So, said forget it and tossed em.

The reasoning behind this Iraq thing. THAT'S what! Well...I personally didn't BUY IT, but I know LOTS o' people WHO DID! (sorry...but you guys know me by now) NOW, the REAL answer I'm SURE you're all waiting breathlessly for.....this figgin' COMPUTER!!! No, wait a minute! Without this thing I'm but a lonely isolated shell of a man. Aaaahhh....to be isolated from this modern topsy-turvy, plague-a-minute, dog-eat-dog world?! BYE!!!! Catch ya on the rebound, people! The chrome turn signal relocator bracket from Ma's and a pair of lights from (?) that look like the indicators on the standard Bonnie.
I decided I like the stock indicators because they are so visible from the side and though I wanted to get them off the bar they are more visible to the cars in front of me if left up high. Plus, the Bonnie lights look weird on the Speedy.

If it can't be bought, I'll make it. If it can be bought i'll make it anyway!
