Well I am going to pickup my new bike, a 2004 ST1300ABS.
I looked high and low for a bike that would fit and be great at long distances 2up. I lucked into a deal yesterday for the 2004 ST1300 w/abs, top box, extended fairing, new tires, nice price, and only 6000 miles on the clock.
I am definitly not a Honda guy but when you find a bike that fits your long legs at a good price you have to jump.
Incidentally, when I was at the credit union there were 5 other guys getting loans for bikes. The agent said they were getting 10+ a day, looking for M/C loans. Gas prices are turning every one into a rider.
BTW: My TBA is staying...not giving her up until she gives up.

Rob,
The engin is in the sam ole place just turned sidways.
It is a V-4 1261cc.
I got it from a doctor who just couldn't justify keeping it. Don't understand his excuse but I will take it.

I have been looking for one of these myself. They are very popular and no one is really looking to deal on them. I have seen used ones with more mileage going for $10K or more. The ABS models are even more. I rode the '05 at a local dealer last year and loved it. This is the loop 'round the US bike. Someday...
