Does anyone make the old fashioned bolt-on barackets for the TBA? I'm really not interested in paying $150 for a set of Easy or Ghost Brackets !!

You can get the Triumph ones or go cheap and buy brackets for the Honda Magna. Several members have done this and swear by them.

I made some out of some HYD tube and some aluminum plates. i did it for free sincec i had acces to the stuff at work, but the stuf is cheep. go see a hyd shop and ask them to bens it up.just take your bike to them to measure by. they arent pretty,,,,but hey,,they cant be seen under the bags!

I do plan on useing them as a template to get some stainless round stock, and bending that and putting a stainless nut on there (welded) that has the threads reamed out. It will look good.

all for probably 20 bucks or less.

even w/ the honda your spending some $$ you could put elsewhere. bracket are easy to make. see my other post.

I saw someone selling brackets that looked similar to a flat, upside-down ping pong paddle (squared). One bolt holds the whole thing on & it looked pretty "universal". Is this similar to yours?

You could also use 1/4" or 3/8" stainless tubing. I works easy and when shaped, it's rather stout. A lot lighter than round or square stock. Stainless polishes up well with a little jeweller's rouge from sears @ $1.99 and a dremel tool (polishing wheel - not the grinding disc).

Hey Gibson those kawasaki meanstreak supports, have you got them and as you suggest do they fit straight on? They look ok as I'm in the market for a pair of supports. Just need to find out how much they will cost here in Australia

I have a set of JC Whitney brackets that you can have. I found EZ Brackets on Ebay for $129. Send me an e-mail with your address. Send me 2 beers and a pack of smokes, that should cover it. Seriously, they can be shipped in a padded envelope via US Mail, send me one of those with your address and postage to cover about 1 pound and that will do it.

FYI: The Honda Magna guards are NOT a direct fit. They must be heated & stretched approx. 3". GIBSON's suggestion may be the best (?).

I have the Honda Magna 750 guards and they bolted right on I did not have to do anything to them.

I'm wondering if I got what I paid for!! Are you talking about a Bonneville "America"? I'm sure the SpeedMaster would be the same.

With the one's that I have, no matter what fender bolt you line it up with, the other one is approx. 3" off!!

I have an America and I used the middle bolt and back bolt. The holes line up but you do have to put the middle bolt in first. If you put the back bolt in first it will make the rail stand about 3 inches off the finder and it is a B* to push the rail in and get the middle bolt started.

I just got in some very nice aftermarket chrome saddlebag support rails. These are designed specifically for the America & Speedmaster. $109.99 pair.

My Speedmaster is all torn apart at the moment, so I can not photograph them mounted. I'll try and get them up on my site by the weekend.

JCWhitney shows 2 saddlebrackets for honda magna. I purchased SKU# ZX015682R for $44.99. The bolts are a bit long but other than that they fit fine on my TBA.

I paid for Easy Brackets from a "Maverick" on eBay.
I'm told they are in the mail.

Guess who just got beat for 200.
