You can test the pumps easily by just unhooking a few od the oil fittings and turn the motor over with the starter, it should squirt oil out very hard and a lot of it, very quickly: have pans and rags ready. (Ask me how I know this one...?)
I would think that if either of the mechanical oil pumps failed, you would hear some weird noises since something would have to be physically broken.
I agree that you should take it to the dealer ASAP and let them have a go at it if the above test shows a good flow.
