How important is the speedometer cable loop on our front fenders? My stock one has been broken for a long time, and I haven't done anything about it yet. I don't really see any big purpose for the cable holder, but I may be missing something about it (Triumph probably wouldn't put it on the bike if it didn't have a good reason). I've seen the replacement ones, or could probably get a new rubber one from the dealer every couple of months until the warranty's up. Just wondering if it's really a necessary part.
