However, the handicap sticker can be misused as well. The last time I was at the DMV there was a younger guy that just came back from Iraq (I thanked him for his service). He got a disability discharge (broke his ankle). Since he was discharged with a disability, he is entitled to get handicap stickers, whether he really needed them or not. And that was why he was there, to get one for his bike and for his car (Hoe rode his bike to the DMV). He wanted to be able to get the primo parking spots. I have mixed feelings about that since there are people that need those parking spots more than he did, but if the law entitles him to those stickers?
