I regret that my last post may have offended you. It wasn't intended to "make fun" of people with any recognized and bonafide disability, but I understand your comment.
Having said that, I'm certain to now hear from someone who belongs to the "American Association of Tune Carrying Disabilities" or from the "Bad Judgement Handicap League."
Finally, I have a lower back that goes out on me from time to time and I have dificulty walking even a few feet. This would seem to qualify me for a disabled parking permit, yet I have somehow managed to get along without one. During these episodes, I occasionally will hobble past a load of seemingly healthy folks getting out of a car parked in the handicapped spot. Surely they ALL can't have a disability that would qualify them to park in the handicapped spot, could they?

Or how about the healthy and fit spouse of a person with a disbility who drives the car solo and uses the spouses permit to park closer to the store?
