I've been waiting for today since Feb 22nd, the day I bought my 06 black Speedy. Shortly after I found BA.com. Since then I've devoured Proficient Motorcycling (recommended here), picked up some stuff from Brent (same) and taken the MSC (perfect score on the range!)...
Today is the day I pick her up. I've cleaned up the work on my desk. Wife is ready to take me down to Pete's Cycle in Baltimore in just about 3 more hours.
I don't know how much slower the minutes can go...

Hope it doesn't rain for you like it did on me on my inaugural run. Spent the rest of the day cleaning it!

I could've used some of that rain when I road mine home just to cool things off. When I went through Florence, Az it was 110.
Enjoy your ride home Rev.

You know what?
I'm not even going to dignify that with a reply .....
At the moment (and for the best part of last week, and for the rest of this week, it's been p!ssing down with rain. Only broken by showery spells!!)

I was reading about your cancelled Dahn Sarf run...."Currently blowing a hoolie up here". Those 50 mph winds sounded brutal. It was only a tad windy here today...about 20-30 mph winds. Looking north to Phoenix, all I saw was a big brown cloud of dust/sand from ground level to about 300 ft or more up in the air. That would've been fun to ride through. Ahhh, summertime! It's only supposed to be 101 on Thursday.

Instead of fooling around with the crap on your desk, you should be planning the longest possible route home! You'll be glad you did!
