As Gina posted on another thread, it is Triumph Day at the Ace on June 11th. Who fancies a day out - weather permitting of course!!!!

As I said I'm there anyway...though if it is raining too much I may cancel the ride up and go by train!!! I can take people with me for a fiver and the tube fare on top... but only from Bristol before you ask!

I'll see how I feel nearer the time.
I go to the Ace quite often as I'm in London semi-regularly.
It doesn't hold that much of a fascination any more - except when there's a 'do' on though, I suppose.
EDIT:
Just checked the calender and there are a couple of VW things on too.
I'll let y'all know.

Steve, Keep an eye out for us, I have a blue America, Grzegorz has a black one. Will probably get there about lunch time. Martyn, be good to see you again. Ignore Adey, he's going to a VW rally.

And anyway I thought everyone knew that the world's best floating car is a Beetle!!! If you don't, then you're just gonna have to believe me...but I have seen it done!

Grzegorz, See your understanding of english is improving. Although I feel what Adey is really saying is: CAST OFF See he is only thinking of our enjoyment. Now that is what you call a friend!! Ray, how are your welding skills?

Paul,
I'll probably get there a bit earlier, 10 - 11ish, but if the weather's as good as last year, I'll probaly be there till about 2. I'm pretty sure Mark's coming as well, so if you see a black Speedy and a red one, we'll be around somewhere

To all those facing the trek...
I (and the Bristol TOMCC plus guests...I've invited a Hardley rider...) are not leaving here till 10. So probably not goingto get there till midday at the earliest.
Andy - If you want to met up (if you fancy going), let me know. I'm sure that some of the others will want to stop for a fag break... so around Swindon would be ok.

I couldn't get that pic to copy earlier!! I was also going to do the 'hair' pop too Have you decided on a route for the 11th? Doing the scenic route or blast along the motorway? I'd normally do the M1 but could be persuaded to come down the M42 / M40 if'n that's the way you're going.

Was thinking of M40 on the way down, could meet at Warwick Services on M40. Not sure about coming back, but tempted to do A5(that is if I can find out how to get to it from Ace), thought it would be more scenic.
