Getting ready to embark on a six week, 10,000+ mile summer adventure and wanted to do something to protect the Rare Green and Cream paint kit that has been living on my TBA for the last 2 years. The solution? Paint it! I painted the original Red tank and fenders to mimic the 1959 Bonnevilles Tangerine and Pearl Grey paint. It's the first complete paint job I have ever done, and I did it in my garage. There's a photo in my gallery. What do you all think?

Now that was exactly what I wanted to see. A while ago member Triumphant helped me with a photoshop thingie to see how that color combo would look on a TBA: The thread... and now I see it works just perfectly. Could you please take some more pics from different angles? I love it!

I think that's one of the nicest paint jobs I have seen around here. Good luck on your cross country adventure, we all expect a report on "What I did for my summer vacation"

Thanks for the cudos guys! The Pearl Grey is a tough color to photograph. It is more a very light blue grey than white. It's pretty close in the pictures I posted.

Piper, I posted some more photos of the bike with the new paint, as well as a photo of an original 1959 T120 Bonneville.

Tom, Thanks but I'm not quite sure I want to sell the Green and Cream paintkit just yet.

Same here.If triumph goes with that paint scheme I may have to trade in my speedy. That paint job is bad as hell!May have to learn how to paint my self when I'm ready for a change. If I do I'll have to install an exhaust fan for my garage.

That colour is sweeeet!

My friend has the tangerine and white T100 and it looks beautiful.

OK, I'm gonna take the credit for getting him off his Honda and onto Triumphs and also for picking this colour for him.

OK, now you guys are scaring me!

Little story which is straight up!
A guy I draw for went to give someone a quote for the work on their house.
It was a woman who lived on her own and every so often, my mate heard her talking to someone but could only hear half of the conversation - he thought telephone conversation.
He left her with the info and price and she said she would have to talk it over with Stuart.
He sussed, there was a toy model of Stuart Little (off the film) sitting on one of the chairs in the dining room where she was talking to herself ...
There's no way I'm surveying that on my own if he sells it
