Don't get me started.....I have a battle over this with the local (Paulding county, GA) sheriff's department over this as well.....A guy 2 houses down had a super modified 4 wheeler that he would come out of our cul-de-sac on the rear wheels. I have 2 kids and 4 animals, so asked the sheriff to come over and have a talk with him. When they finally arrived (by calling 911 and hanging up), he asked me "well what exactly do you want me to do?" To wit I replied "whatever you have to do to keep from coming back out here and scraping my dead little girls body off the road"....said there was nothing he could do, and left....then they pull my son over on his Yahama 200 and scolds him for riding on the same street! Well, Friday, a sheriff's cruiser was coming out of the cul-de-sac (rare) at about 45 mph, I motioned for him to "slow down" for the kids, he turned around and came back and asked me "what were you saying", I was asking you to "slow down", well let me tell ya, I really hurt his feelings, He asked me if I had been to "speed detection" school, I told him No, but had been living here long enough to tell when someone is speeding. He (and most the others) are simply ego boosted "punks" IMHO, and have no respect for any of them....
