LOL...I'm sure there were parents who would've liked to knock me with a brick, or just give me a slap or 2 upside the head...maybe would've done me some good...the only thing worse than having no parents was having mine...I was told to get out and join the army or get a job (he didn't care which) because the law said he didn't have to keep me after 16...this was on my 16th Bday...and my Mom, who was long gone, didn't want me to interfere with her men...so, yeah, I went a little wild...harmful mostly to myself, though...maybe if some adult HAD given me a thrashing, it might have smartened me up...
