I am ready to replace the stock Bridgestones and was wondering what tires you guys would recommend. Also, is anyone using a fatter front tire? Does it hurt in the turns?

Try this for Metzelers: accwhse.com.
I prefer them over Bridgestones by far, but I have a SM which is tubeless.

I've got a TBA and I love my Avon Venoms.
They ride so much better, and hey, they even look cool.

There was a pretty extensive thread about this in another area... Performance maybe? Not sure. But there's a LOT of feedback in there you might find helpful. LOVE my Avon Venoms...

I ordered up a set of Maxxis H-rated tires. 170/80-15 & wider 120/80-18. Gangster whitewalls!

I would like to go with Pirelli tires & I know they have the:
MT Route 66 for our rear & sport Deamon for the front but I want to go with the MT Route 66 on the front
the only catch is it's a 120/90-18 65H TL MT66 FRONT
is this a problem?

You may have a problem with the front fender bracket.
several members have made spacer to raise the fender a bit
for the bracket to clear.
you could try a search in the archives.
I think fred needed to do this for his white walls to work on
the front.
You can almost make out the original bolt hole in the bracket where it is just above the mount on the fork slider.
