Bought a pair of Sceptres a couple of years ago, and I like 'em a lot. However they're a bit loud sometimes so I mailed Team Triumph about repacking the core, and this is the answer I got:

If you are looking to reduce the sound level, your best bet would be to purchase a set of the tuned inserts that we are working on. They will be online and available by the end of this month. There will be two different styles to choose.
You can open the pipes by drilling out the stainless rivet with a #7 drill bit. Then the baffle will slide out the backside.

Have anyone here tried to repack a pair of Sceptres?
