Without wishing to be controversial I'd like to quote something someone posted in a different (locked) thread....

No we are not. I don't live in the USA and there are many of us here - very regular in here - who aren't living there.

But I can talk about Jaffa Cakes all day. 
Some of the silly topics are what kept me coming back when I first joined the forum. I'm not exactly good at talking to complete and total strangers for the first time. I tend to be very shy (No really I am) so silly topics are good. It would also be good for other newbies to have silly topics to contribute to.
What must the newbies be thinking of us looking at some of what has been posted recently....?
Just keep the serious stuff somewhere else. Please.
