I went to a wedding last fall, end of october in Farmington, CT. It was a sunny day, but It HAD rained the whole previous week or something like that. The golf course was just a couple little mounds, and the water was still rising because of the river being fed still by all the flooded areas. The river broke over the bank DURING the ceremony, and afterwards we watching it rise up the patio. Brick by brick... you could watch it. We even had to go back a different way than we came cause of the roads closed.
AND!! There were pumpkins floating down the river!! Actually kinda funny. Also not nearly as bad as this!
