OK, winding it out like that is not something that I do a lot...a handfull of times in the year and a half I've had the bike. Second gear just seems to have a fun power band...goes from 25-50+ easy if you let it...I haven't hit the rev limiter in any other gear. Today's run was more of a test than anything...to check the boost (if any) from the air filter.
The opinions really vary on this site about pushing our engines. I guess I like the theory that it likes the high RPMs and that hitting the rev limiter is no big deal.
