I have found that on long rides that exceed 70mph, I am getting significant buffeting and strong wind between the shield and the headlight with my Viper. Wouldn't trade it for the price though. Good entry level windshield for those that don't plan on permanent usage. MrUnix shows that it can be used all the time, but it is perfect for limited usage.
I lived off Weaver Dairy Rd. on the extreme Northwestern side of Chapel Hill for 5 years. Where are you in Durham?
