I've got the same as matt on my Speedy, the slipstreamer viper.. It's a quick release, but I've found that I really enjoy it's protection and have left it on. I'm 6' also, and the wind is deflected to the very top of my helmet with very little if any buffeting.. Very happy with it and the price is really reasonable (less than $70). But base your choice on size! Ideal is just below your line of sight to the horizon. The SS-10 is 17 1/2" or something like that. It may be too tall for shorter riders, and too short for taller riders. As is, I could probably go another inch higher, but it does a good job as is so I'm sticking with it for now
