Found this on a website for a joke, pretty good public message! How Close Does a Biker Have to Be?If it asks to install a language pack, just click cancel, and then click on the "How Close does a biker..." link and download or open it...

shoot, just run the Brit advert, it's in English and clear enough that we can understand that Junction means Intersection. Not rocket science, just airtime....

I actually saw this for the first time on one of the bike safety web sites; I cannot remember what one right now. It’s a great ad and I think we need more like this all over.

that's kind of what I meant...if we could get airtime for something like this, sure, this ad itself would work just fine...

Not only a great aweness ad for folks in cars, but also a good reminder for us who ride to remember that when we're on the road, we're invisible to everyone.

Okay. I started browsing some of the other mpegs on this site, and I came across one that made me sick to my stomach. It was the "kitty-gore" mpeg. If you are "normal" and like animals, don't be tempted to open that one, or you'll have some images burned into your brain that will last awhile. Posting something as disgustingly disturbing as that is one thing that's wrong with the internet. People with no scruples whatsoever sneak that crap on to a "humor" oriented website. I know, the "kitty-gore" title should have been a clue, but still... Isn't there enough sad, perverted crap in our lives without seeing something like that?

OK, from NOW ON, ONLY go where I told you to go!!! I take no responsibility if you stray from the true path or can't follow instructions... But, in all seriousness, I agree with you one hundred percent, and I looked at a Greek video that was just plain strange, so I'm really NOT sure what the goal of this site is, and I most definitely DON'T condone that kind of crap (the kitty gore!)

hey JC, I'll take your advice on that and not go there...made that mistake once before and you're 100% correct...images burned into the brain that take a long, long time to fade...but never goes completely away...sorry you had to see something like that...you're right on that score too...there's way too much sick sh!t in the world today...

I couldn't get the vid to work but I think I know which ad it might be. Is it the one where the voice over is going "now you see me ... now you see me ... now you see me .." ?? Very scary ....

I couldn't get it to work either, so it could be that one Ade or it could be the one where he leaves his house and rides out in the country, where the lad holds a plackard up up saying something like, watch out for the tractor pulling out of the field and things like that,

Guy pulls up to the Junction, looks right, looks left, and starts out, only to have a guy on a yellow Honda plow right into his drivers door. Then it asks how close does a biker have to be before you see him, and shows the accident from the viewpoint of the biker, the driver and so on, and tells you to look, look and look again for bikers...
