Brent has a cool looking lightbar on his site now. It says the center-to-center measurement on it is 16"...what's the center-to-center on the Triumph bar?

I'll have to check C-to-C on the T-bar, but I do like the wide spread. A lot easier to ride that left lane stripe to let the truckers know your still there, and not trying to go around them on the right side. I give them all the time they need - hey, they need to pass slower traffic too, and lord knows, sometimes it may take them a mile or more to get around another truck, but passing them on the right side just isn't cool. They can't see you!

I help them out by hanging back, and peeping over their left shoulder so they know they have a clear shot at getting back into the right lane safely. My light bar allows me to do that safely, too, as it is wide enough to allow them to see it in their left mirror without me having to crowd the left stripe too close. They seem to appreciate the courtesy - they let you know when you finally get by them on their left side. I don't go out of my way to pi** too many people off intentionally. I will go out of my way a lot to please someone, though. The rewards are priceless.

The H-D light bars I keep seeing are very narrow spread - I don't see how they could even do an adequate job of lighting the sides of the road! Makes mine look like a much bigger bike at night.

The factory bar is 20" wide, center to center. That bar looks a little narrow, I like it. No doubt a lot cheaper than the Triumph bar and better quality I bet. Plus looks like the turn signals mount below, where they should be.

As ssjones said 20" nut-nut. You save 1/2" on each side.

The Triumph bar is $11 more expensive here (I've had no issues with the chrome to date}:
Coweta's

I like the idea of the "turn signal relocation brackets included", but I'm sure this will require some wiring reconfiguration on your part.

Hard to tell from Brent's picture, but it appears the Rivco lights may be flat on back, where Triumph's are shell-like. Could be wrong and may or may not matter to some.

Info is Power,

Tom

Gotta a buck and a big thank you for the first straight on center photo (instead from the side) of one mounted!

Has anyone installed the Rivco lightbar yet?

Just curious how the wiring was (easy/hard). I like the fact that the Triumph lightbat is plug & play...but like the looks of the Rivco.

Light bar is very nice. I have a Memphis Shades shield but there is no cutout on the sides of it for lights. Think I need a different windshield?? Also, my windshield is probably ~2 inches too high for me anyway, for my preference (can't see over it)--17 inch shield. I could sell it and get one that will fit with a lightbar.
