Bad news, I am not going to be able to take my trip across the company.
Good news, it is because I have a job.
The GREAT news, I found out that I get to go to Sydney for 3 (maybe 4) weeks next month.
Any advice.

Ha!!! Sydney thinks it's the best, Melbourne tries to be the best but Brisbane is the best,,, Thats why they all come here.....

1bitterdude, lose the bitterness, chill out in sunny Qld. Check out Gold Coast, Gold Coast Hinter Land, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Melaney, Montville, 1770, Agnes Waters, Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, The Witsundays, etc etc etc. ESCAPE to warm idillic locations!  Or... go to Sydey or Melbourne, they're OK I guess.

Jack, sorry to hear that you won't be makng that trip you were planning on...a trip like that is good for the soul...but it's a real positive turn that you got what sounds like a good job, plus the chance to go to Oz...just be careful there...I think pretty much every living thing there is capable of killing you in one way or another...I hope it works out, and it's a great time for you...I look forward to the day when you become 1contentdude instead...
