Just thought I'd ask before purchasing. The Haynes manual for our bikes was released on the 5th, so has anyone had the chance to review / compare to the factory Triumph manual?

Is it any better? good value?

Cheers,

TBA, Stainless extractors / drag pipes, 65mm over forward controls, Thruxton needles, 904cc, head ported, lowered 1-inch, Console removed, relocated battery box, Australia.

Where can I get one? Can I order it through Barnes & Noble or Books-A-Million?

Looking at the link that Runner supplied, seems that Haynes have put the delivery date back to June!

I got a newsletter from Jenks today that said the manuals will be in next week.

"A quick message to let everyone know that the Haynes book is expected in stock next week and they will start shipping as soon as we get them. Our plan is to get all the pre-ordered books out by Friday 26 May 2006 and to process new orders from 1 June 2006."

I notice looking on that link given that it says the book
covers the Speedmaster from 02-05 but the America from 04-05. Why? Doesn't make sense to me.

It could be that prior to '04 the America was known as a "Bonneville America". It also said that it covers all 790 cc Bonnevilles. All in all it shouldn't make any difference as it would be the same for all 790 BAs or TAs.
