Don't worry about the Bridgestone tires. I have them and got excellent handling and milage out of them. I am using a dunlop on the rear presently needed a tire and was only thing dealer had. Will either put Bridgestones or try Pirelli MT 66 soon on Front and rear.Dunlop wearing out fast. But Both bikes are Great. It is a matter of preference. What you like. I had a Black/Silver 79 Bonneville so the 2002 Bl/Sil america was my choice 4 years and 35,000 miles ago.
